North Carolina Farm Fresh is a directory of pick-your-own farms, roadside farm markets, and farmers markets throughout North Carolina. It is designed to help the consumer, find the freshest locally grown fruits, vegetables, christmas trees, ornamental plants, flowers, and herbs.


  • Blue Sky Oil & Vinegar, 400 S. Elliott Road, Chapel Hill, NC offers a unique opportunity to taste fresh extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegars from select artisans around the world.
  • The Farmers' Market at Fearrington Join vendors from many local farms as they come together each Tuesday from 4pm-6pm, April through Thanksgiving, on the grassy lot beside the Fitch Creations Administration building to share the best of the season. The 22nd season opens on APRIL 03, 2012.
  • The Carrboro Farmers' Market is located on Carrboro Town Commons, next to Town Hall at 301 West Main St. The Market is open on Saturdays year round. They start their 33rd annual spring/summer Saturday hours (7:00am to Noon) on April 07, 2012. Spring/summer Wednesday hours (3:30pm-6:30pm) begins on April 11, 2012. With parking at a premium, try to arrive early. Leave the dog home; a town ordinance forbids dogs from being at the Farmers' Market.
  • Chatham Mills Farmers' Market is located at Chatham Mills on Hillsboro Street (15/501) in Pittsboro. Open Saturdays 8:00am-Noon April - November. For information, contact: (919) 704-0549.

  • Raleigh Farmers Market This is one of five Farmers Markets owned by the STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA and operated by the NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE & CONSUMER SERVICES. These Farmers Markets are strategically located across the state to serve North Carolina farmers, both large and small. They provide modern, well maintained facilities, in prime locations that are inviting to sellers and buyers.
  • Triangle Area "Growers Only" Markets  A directory maintained by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, which includes information on Farmers' Markets in the following eight (8) counties: Alliance, Chatham, Durham, Granville, Lee, Moore, Organge, and Wake Counties.
