The FFA speaker for Monday, October 27 at 1:30 will be Patrick Dougherty, an internationally acclaimed environmental artist. Mr. Dougherty has created over two hundred majestic sculptures out of nothing more than tree saplings. His latest installlation, Fit for a Queen, in Nantes, France, is available to watch at http://youtu.be/WpG5u4eG8xk. He will speak about his creative process, his inspirations and his thoughts about the nature of his work.
Our dues are $15.00 per person for the year which includes four programs and the opportunity to go on our field trip to Charlotte in the spring. They can be paid any time with a check made out to “Fearrington Friends of the Arts” left in our mailbox at the Swim and Croquet kiosk. We welcome all art lovers and invite you to bring your like-minded friends.
