On Tuesday, May 16, 7:30 pm in Chapin Auditorium, Caroline Bruzelius will present Modern meets Medieval: Digital Technologies and Historic Buildings. Caroline Bruzelius is the Anne Murnick Cogan Professor of Art and Art History at Duke University and studies Gothic architecture and urbanism in France and Italy. She is currently working with the Wired! Lab at Duke, which she co-founded, using digital imaging to better understand cathedral architecture. She writes, “The remarkable capacities of digital modeling and mapping have greatly enriched the ways in which we can engage with the constantly changing and evolving lives of buildings and cities.”
