October should bring perfect tennis weather to Fearrington… a break from the summer heat and humidity… and a good chance to break out your tennis racket and start playing again. There is plenty of open court time in the afternoons and now that it is cooler it’s a fun time to play. You can check the fall schedule on the website if you want to contact a captain to sub in one of the groups or to see when the courts are free. Or you can contact David Spencer to be added to the open play on Saturday mornings (spen1551@bellsouth.net).
Mark your calendars for the annual tennis association meeting on Sunday, November 24 at 5 pm at The Gathering Place. Elections will take place, new by-laws will be voted on and, of course, there will be refreshments.
