28 Sep Fearrington Democratic Club
How did so many modern American cities, towns, and developments come to be segregated by race? The Democratic Club’s speaker on Tuesday, October 26 at 7 pm will be Prof. Ted Shaw, who is the director of the UNC Center for Civil Rights and a distinguished professor at the UNC School of Law. He will speak on the topic of “Race and Real Estate”—the historical and legal underpinnings of racially segregated housing in the US.
