27 Oct A Note About Formatting and Content

All the articles in the printed copy of the newsletter are included in this electronic version, presented in the same order as the paper newsletter, within the broad categories of Front Page, What’s Going On in Fearrington, etc. Directory Changes are not included in this electronic copy, however, for the following reasons:
- The online (website) directory contains the most up-to-date information available.
- People who receive the newsletter electronically have the equipment and skills needed to access the online directory as needed.
- An up-to-the-minute directory can be displayed as a PDF file and printed from any logged-in user’s home at any time, if desired.
- The time taken to document online directory changes suitable for newsletter publication is excessive.
This electronic newsletter is formatted as a web page using web technologies and design criteria. It does look different from the printed edition, but we hope the conservative use of color and the lack of page boundaries to interrupt your perusal of the newsletter on your computer is acceptable.
