Arborist to Gardener: Thoughts about Trees” is offered Tuesday, October 18, at 2:30 pm at The Gathering Place by Craig Nishimoto, co-owner and founder of The Treeist in Chapel Hill. He is an International Society of Arboriculture Board Certified Master Arborist and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. He will share how gardening savvy folks can participate in the stewardship of community trees, describe current and common local tree issues, and explain how and when to work with a tree service.

Fall is membership time. $20 annual/ $5 nonmembers.
