Those of you who are familiar with the Creekwood nature trails have probably seen the beautiful carved signs that say “Castner – Creekwood Trail”.
Some perhaps wondered, who is Castner? But many remember Henry Castner very fondly. More than anyone else, he was responsible for the development of the natural walking trails along Creekwood.
Henry passed away November 19, 2021. You can read an obituary of Henry written by Forrest Greenslade that gives a detailed account of his work with the trails.
