FOUNDERS FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY, APRIL 27, 1-5 PM

All Fearrington Village residents are invited to join your neighbors for a fun-filled day of festivities honoring the founding of Fearrington Village in 1974.  This celebration features activities for residents of all ages and offers a flashback to the ‘70s with music, funky fashions, and memorabilia.  The event spans multiple venues from The Gathering Place to Fearrington Cares to the Swim & Croquet Club, which will feature a picnic area, DJ and dance floor on their upper lawn!  The entryway to Swim & Croquet’s upper lawn area has recently been paved to offer improved accessibility to all residents.

Click HERE for an updated event flyer with more detailed information.

If you have children or grandchildren who would like to participate in the Women of Fearrington sidewalk chalk drawing contest, click HERE for more information.

In addition to playing tunes, our DJ is also offering karaoke at 3 pm.  If you like to sing, check out the available song list from the ‘60s and ‘70s HERE

PARKING: Since festivities will also be held in the parking lot, parking at the event will be very limited.  Residents are encouraged to carpool, parking at the Farmers’ Market area and taking the shuttle bus which will run continuously from there and the Barnyard. While you wait, visit with the Belties and Farmer Bob who will be offering barnyard Q&A from 1-3 pm. Or plan to walk or bike to the event.

Please note that dogs are not permitted on the grounds of the Swim and Croquet Club or in The Gathering Place or Fearrington Cares Center.

This event is hosted by the Fearrington Homeowners Association in collaboration with Fearrington Cares, Fearrington Swim & Croquet Club and Women of Fearrington.
