11 May Strawberries for Volunteers
On Wednesday, May 18, The Strawberry Truck will come to the Gathering Place to deliver a quart of freshly picked organic strawberries to all volunteers who have provided leadership, strong arms, brain power, baked goods or anything else to the benefit of our community. All you have to do is identify yourself as a volunteer, and you will be handed a quart of delicious strawberries in thanks for your contributions. And extra berries for sale as well.
Volunteers should try to arrive between 11:00 and noon if possible, but the truck will stay in the Village until it is sold out, so come anytime you can. All volunteers who have served Fearrington Village, whether through the FHA, Service Groups, Fearrington Cares, Garden Club or other Village activities, are included.
If you have not been able to volunteer but want to thank all who have, please come and sign our giant thank-you card. And while you are there, you will be able to purchase some berries until The Strawberry Truck is sold out.
