A team of ten knitters worked hard on creating items to display outdoors in time to welcome the Fearrington Folk Art Fair on February 22 and 23 and then remain on display. Bright bands are on the trees lining the drive from Village Way leading up to the Village Center. Five trees in the Village Center are covered with knitted garments to amuse the viewer. Look for small details that await your discovery (can you find the mice?). Team members are: Marilyn Boyle, Marty Bucher, Sue Ford-Goldhagen, Ruth Gerber, Carol Kurtz, Amy Levine, Annette Levine, Daphne Rhodes, Priscilla Shows, and Barbara Thompson. Colette File, Fredda Hobbs and Ruth Kreisman could not do large team work but each contributed an item to the project. We hope these pieces brighten your day.
